Having Completed his schooling from Ramakrishna Vidyashala Mysore, did his MBBS from Mysore Medical College.

After Completing his M D, he went on to do his DM(Neurology).He worked at NIMHANS Bangalore for a brief period after his DM.

Since 1996 he has been in Mysore as a Consulting Neurologist. He has presented papers at Neurology Conferences & has attended Various National & International Conferences. His Areas of Practice Include Headache, Vertigo, Epilepsy Parkinson Disease & Movement Disorders, Stroke, Muscle, Nerve & Spinal cord disorders, Neuro ophthalmology & Demyelinating Disorders.
